A New Beginning
For those of you who do drop by to check on me, sorry that i haven’t been really updating my entries…Somehow or rather, i have fallen into the bad habit of just logging on and reading what you guys left for me..even just a wee bit worried that if i were to have a new entry, my previous “essay” would be forgotten..ya ya..silly of me! Thank you all once again for taking the trouble to leave me a line or two, its been really great to be back home after a long day and being able to read your thoughts and your lovely kind words…
Thought i should address some of the questions you guys have raised..First and foremost, the most popular subject of discussion seems to be of Lee Teng… wow, he is really getting alot of attention from you guys huh? well..here we go.. please do not be so harsh on him because he is really really not as bad as he seemed on the tele… he is actually rather funny at times and he is really improving day by day.Sometimes when we do not achieve the desired results that we so hope to attain, its rather convenient to direct our displeasure at the person who somehow..is new.and he..is new. Have faith in my judgement and you will see him in a different light! learn to appreciate his sense of humour just like i did and he will grow on you……
The next question that is also rather frequently asked is about wanting to be a contestant on home decor..Very easy..just email your particulars to “homedecor3@mediacorp.com.sg”, i think…
Next, i am very much honoured, flattered that some of you woud like to engage me to do up your place and want to know about my co”s contact and so on..Well, perhaps i do not make a very good businessman because right at this point, there is quite a fair bit that i have to do to fulfill my role as an artiste and there is only so much that i could oversee..thus, i am rather hesitant about giving the contacts of my co least if you guys were to actually contact us, we might have to say no to doing the job. However, if you guys really need me to help, i might be able to give you guys some advise and if you really heed to do up your place i can introduce some designers tat i have known thru the programme and they might be able to assist you..But then again, if i were to have time to indulge in my business, i would definitely advertise my services here immediately and wait for your calls……..( how utterly shameless of me!)
Next on my list would be to thank you for your well wishes for “star Awards”… Am glad that i made it to the list……..it felt real good when your efforts were recognized..
You must be wondering why this entry is entittled ” A new Beginning”. Its simply because ………….me not t.r.a.p.p.e.d! anymore! Hoooooo! In fact, for the past two weeks i felt myself coming back to life again,smiling more and having more energy to work and all. Why? or How ? I don’t have an answer for that.. perhaps its because i have gained so much support from you guys..perhaps you guys have taught me words of wisdom..perhaps i am growing older by the min..wiser by the seconds..perhaps i have learnt not to be too hard on myself…perhaps..perhaps..perhaps. Anyway, just thought that i should share this recent joy of mine with you guys.

To those of you who felt the same way as i did previously [ i.e T>R>A>P>P>E>D] , i sincerely hope that you too will be able to walk out of the darkness. Though it may take quite a while to snap out of it, eventually, we will.Do believe that miracles do happen..i am a living prove of that.

Hi Bryan,
I really enjoy seeing you host Home Decor as well as all your other variety shows. I was just watching the Star Awards Prelude and saw you acting as a small boy. I thought your acting was already really good at that age (..and of course now also la!..)
I understand how you felt when you are depressed and I could ‘feel’ that you were depressed.. Were you depressed when you were in Tasmania too? I felt that your pictures looked so gloomy. Anyway, I can’t wait to see your Tasmania trip. Really wanted to join the tour, but sigh! due to work committments, I don’t have the luxury of joining you.
I actually quite like Lee Teng. Maybe we are from the same faculty in university – accountancy, and I do get his jokes. I enjoy seeing him and you together because I love seeing you being exasperated by him. He’s quite cute la, but a little be rash. i think he’s taking a lot of how he hosts from city beat to home decor. I like him. Do tell him that he has at least ONE fan!! hehe..
Meanwhile, you take care and CONGRATS on your first win. I’m sure it’ll be the first of many. Also, all the best for star awards. Will be rooting for you.

I don’t know how true or how honest you are when you said that you are not trapped anymore. But if you really are, then I am happy for you. Love to see the smiling face of yours.
I enjoyed reading your blog and coming to your webpage has become a part of my daily routine. Your English is just as powerful as your Chinese. I am impressed with whatever you are doing, be it hosting, drawing, designing etc…

Hi Bryan,
I guessed I’ve walked out a difficult period of my time too! (thoh not sure if i am walking into a next one) University dissertation is definitely the hardest assignment ever if all things are against you, the bad things happening around you, projects, exams, and the worst ever supervisor attached to you.. but still i managed to take a step up and conquer the first hurdle i.e my first draft.
I believed in many a times, we are met with challenges, we bitch, we complain, we felt angry about ourselves but ultimately, when all that emo was over and we stare at the problem at hand, somehow we can magically solve it or accomplish it. Thats the beauty of the power of human beings. You can do it, I can and so is everyone!
Whee~ I’ll anticipate your next design on the show!!!

Glad that you have walked out from the state of being “trapped”. I do get trap at times. But once we tend to see things from a different perspective. We will be much happier. Really. Most of the time, we complicate things that are so simple that we overlooked many things. And this complication made us so unhappy. I don’t know why too, but i feel that im growing up. haha.
Oh ya. Really grats on you being nominated for star awards. Will support you all the way la. Feel very happy to know that your name/picture is always in the current leading top 10 male artiste when watching the star awards prelude. hah.

Everytime i watched “Bai Jia Le”. I will always look forward to c how u really decorate other people’s home & that really impressed me alot. Notti me always want u to win instead of mark lee.*oops* sorry but you always never let us down with your creativity.
