    Hello Bryan,

I understand that previously the 高人师傅 whom you previously consulted often has passed on. Are you currently seeing any other geomancer or 师傅 for consultation?

Like Shalene, it would be good if you can let me have his/her contact details ya.

I am also interested to know.
    Thanks. :)

    好久不见,禄江哥!

    刚刚在网络新闻里看到文芳和铭顺注册结婚了,新闻里提到你也到场祝贺一对新人的。我也祝愿这一对新人终于喜结良缘了。

    愿你开心,健康,快乐!

This was my first time read your blog, after reading it i find u r a person who have full of compassion, which some of guys doesn’t has it, but Bryan i believed you do understand that every human being will have to leave one day it just the matter of time, i ever came across a moive one of a artise ever mention this what we have surpast it was just a kind of experince but not a burden, since at the present moment i think we should do something that we have pend for long ago, human could die in any reason with no regret but if human die with regret in the thing they didnt achieved it was a kind of agony… Bryan im not sure do you catch what i mean but something was u r a very good person… no matter what dun give up …

    Hi Bryan

Good to see U again…at a very different setting – on the stage of a lecture theater.

U were a “lecturer” for a nite :) Sharing your experiences and thoughts in search of happiness…

Well said, happiness is what and how we perceive or do things in different stages of our lives, the paths we choose to take …. Applauded!!

Think I get to know U better through “Destinations Most Wanted” and your blog. That affirmed u’re not just an artist, entertainer but an intellectual young man! (Wonder if there is a 2nd series of “Destinations Most Wanted”??)

Take care, Bro, till we meet again (if we ever meet again).

    Bryan,

I quite enjoyed your talk last night.

Me? I am the one who responded, saying “Half full”..where I should have answered “the mineral water bottle is 3/4 full” something like that. Haha. Ah…coz I was like searching for words when you looked at me and asked me. =p

Your talk was certainly enlightening. Especially the part about “This is a cynical world, be kind to yourself.” Often, I always feel that I am happy only if people praises me…I did not do anything wrong..etc etc. When some people for example: my boss gave me harsh remarks for the mistakes I’ve done….yes, I do some self-reflections but would can’t help self-reproaching for the mistakes I’ve made.

In fast-paced Singapore, well, there is some kind of a culture that people can be quite unforgiving towards failures or mistakes made. I may be wrong but it seems to be true.

I went through some rough patches too in my earlier years…experienced some negativity..so I also can understand how you felt. Anyway, as we grow up, we try our best to become better persons..compared to who we are in yesteryears.

About 5 years ago, while I was in my diploma studies in Mass Communications, someone ..err..perhaps a secret admirer dropped me a note in my pencil case. She said despite the fact that I am hearing-challenged, but because of the smile I have always on my face, she is happy whenever she sees me in class every morning.

That surprise little note warms my heart because I never expect that my physical presence alone can make someone happy. Haha. Because sometimes when I am down, I always think that it makes little difference whether or not I exist in this world. By nature, I am a quiet reserved person.

Since National Service, I’ve always made it a habit to associate myself with successful positive happy people. Because they emit positive energies. You are one of them. In fact, to be honest, you are one of my role models. =D

Somehow like Juan, I look upon you as en elder brother. You taught me some things last night. =)

I’ve been observing you the whole night. I am 30 this year. I wish I can be someone like you..years from now, sharing my life experiences and motivating people around me.

I am thankful that I am still able-bodied even though I am hearing-challenged. I heard what you said thorough the entire talk with the help of my digital hearing aid. Which is why I sat in front, not at the back. =)

I am all the more thankful that you exist in my lifetime. I am not sure whether can I say that it is my blessing that our life paths crossed somehow? LOL.

Yes, I came alone for the talk. But I was too paiseh/self-conscious to ask you for a hug. LOL. =p

Been to ur talk yesterdae, a gd one.

Though you seems to have remind us abt happiness… r u happy?!

There r lotsa meaning in happy… like what u have mentioned… at different stage of life we will view happiness differently…

It’s not jus by attendin tis talk… we can find happiness… it’s more towards how we ourselves have to find our own happiness… and how we view n understand it.

eg. people who r sick n live their life to the fullest mayb happier compared to those who are healthy n yet not content for whatever surrounding they r in, n those people earn low income can be more happier than those who r at high end, etc.

Yesterdae the twice tremors that we felt… though I’m abit distracted… I was thinkin if we r feeling tremors here… which means that some of our neighbour countries r having some earthquakes… though upset thinkin people may suffer again… and we who r seating comfortably in auditorium to hear ur speech… ain’t we suppose to be content for where we r… at least I am happy for where I am yesterday.

I like it when you share ur experiences wif us… thanks for tat :)

Btw, ur 30 cars r ur WANTS? or ur NEEDS? hmm irony in this… hee hee =)

Take gd care of urself in order to take gd care for ur mum, sis n ur 3 gd friends n everyone who u care.

    Hi Alan,
Thank you for your blessing, maybe I will get to see him again someday.
Bryan has a warm smile which makes me feel safe, so does the boy . To a lonely heart a smile is enough more than enough, isnot it? I reckon that having a smile everyday is a happiness.

Best wishes to you and Bryan.

About the tremors we felt ytd, it shouldn’t be some earthquakes happened in somewhere. It’s because our school is having construction, hehe…

Bryan, wish i could take 1 more photo with u =P

    Remember to Let Go =)

My dad had drive me in pick-up too when I’m small… I somehow know what you mean… somehow being despise by ppl who drove cars…
But mayb I view it differently… I enjoy the breeze blown on the face… I like soo much n I chose to sit behind… rather than sitting in with the air-con…
But now no longer have the chance to sit pick-up… seating in dad’s comfy car… thinkin back… mayb we shld thinkin abt the gd memories n not the bad… those two ppl who laughs at u n ur sis… may have miss out the experience compared to us, those who had sit pick-up before.

I do not know how to explain it but I feel that it’s no longer a WANTS… it seems like it has become a routine to u. It seems to me that it’s not whether you want or don’t want now. It becomes TIMES UP… U gonna change another car.

Remember don’t hold onto something negative for too long… the person who had laughed at you may not have remember this incident anymore… then what actually bother you till now… unless you yourself also despise yourself when you are sitting in that pick-up.

    Opps… hope I didn’t offend you… hee hee jus my views =)

Be Happy n Let go =)

    hello bryan

good to talk to you on your blog

anyway, i forgot to mention in the talk – u are not a ‘happiness guru’…you are simply someone who has found peace and happiness at its simplest, and wanted to share and inspire others that happiness can be within one’s reach…if we stop and appreciate more.

your talent is God-given and I am glad you are using it to touch lives in your own special ways…dreams do come true…i dreamt one day to have you speak as a friend to encourage others and you did it :)

life can be savoured at its simplest

only thing is – i forgot to ask yesterday – how do you keep life at a comfy, slower pace in fast-paced Singapore with all its incredible deadlines ;) care to share?

I wanted to, but there were so many SIM students swarming around you, asking for autographs/photos/hugs from you. So many requests yet so little time available.

Furthermore I am not an attention-seeker, screaming “Bryan! Bryan!” LOL.

Perhaps wait till the next opportunity arises?
By the way, when are you going to schedule the dinner together with some of us? Maybe I shall then “demand” asking for the hug from you.

    Haha. Kidding only lah. :-)
