DMW: 洞窟石刻 The Art of Stone
Prior to visiting these three places, my only knowledge of people living in stone caves would probably just be the ancient cavemen, chinese period dramas heroes and oh yes, the Flintstones! All in all, the overall picture is more cartoony and historical..that is, until i visited these three destinations located at different parts of the world..The newly acquired knowledge allowed me a greater understanding of how strong and resilient mankind is..and how proud they were, how willing they were to impart their knowledge and most importantly, their thirst for life.. walk with me, as we embark on the quest for life..
卡帕多基亚石窟 Cappodocia- Turkey
梵尔卡莫尼卡石刻 Valcamonica-Italy
This time round, i let the pictures do the talking..
with the view in mind, i hope that one day,
you too , will have the chance to experience and witness my encounters,
and share with me, the immense joy..of simply,
being alive…
陕北延安窑洞 YanAn-China
This time, not only that i have been to three different parts of the world, most importantly, i travelled back to thousands of years ago, where the first man carved the figurines on the rocks in Valcamonica..and i went to the abodes of the missionaries who hid in the underground cities dated back to the 12th century and i was on the same plot of land, the same room where the five secretaries, the famous five revolutionary heroes of China, made decisions that impacted the world inyears to come..
This was an incredible experience for me, for within this time frame i have learned so much, gained greater insight .into what being alive is all about. We should all cherish what we have at this moment! seize the Day! Carpe’Diem!

Absolutely brilliant visuals, Bryan! Can’t agree more that sometimes when you are out there – outside your comfort zone and home, the ability to appreciate simpler things almost always do happen. Like what you said, contentment is peace; contentment is happiness. I’m glad your travelling experiences had been a joyous and miraculous one. Hugs!!

I love your pictures…indeed u are right, we are really small compare to the vast nature, so why allow ourselves to be trapped in the endless expectations of others cos by doing so, we are only limiting ourselves..
Take Care
