Glamour Mum
Reprising the role of the “dude”, this is the second installment of the dude series and the focal point now shifts to the Hot Mamas! Finally premiered tonight and its kind of a weird to see myself on tv again..as i am so used to explaining to people why i have disappeared from screen. Wonder if you guys can see that i have seemed to adopt a more different kind of a presentation style..not so loud anymore..more toned down..perhaps this is the result of doing the travelogue, where i am told to be my other self, where i don’t have to go many octaves higher and seemed to be running on everlasting batteries..much happier with this approach though..i can finally be more of the real me. However, still a little bit of the wacky me though….

wow.. i am surprised and happy to see your latest deput of the dude series as I really thought I wun expect to see you on the tv till who knows when except for the recast of the drama which i am catching every night. hee..
will try to catch the glamour mum next time. happened to miss it last night.

watched GM yest… although i’m not a mum yet, but seriously, i did enjoy the show…. ‘cos at least i can recommend it to my eldest sis cos she’s alr a mum of two!!! but of course, she’s definitely not an old hag…. haha….. continue to strive on!!!

i need ur advice i jus got a new perm job fr pev boss which i used 2 work as pt cashier n coffee asst now they offer me a full time job i jus start only 4 day till now alots of problem the morning staff suddenly hate me i duno y since i start work i was like a thorn in there eyes i duno if i should carry on working i ‘m sad n scare cos i made my shift partner veri stress she trying 2 help me end up i told mt manger everything now my manger keep asking me not 2 worry but i dun wish 2 made every1 sad or angry . wat should i do do u think i should quit cos now they dun need anymore pt staff which mean i ve 2 find other job but i nv work full time job 4 ard 8 yr

hmmm… no matter what your persona on tv, i believe that as long as you’re true to yourself, you would come off as real! really enjoyed your shows. too bad i’m in Australia studying now. but well, good luck in your change in direction and am looking forward to catching more local tv with all my fav tv personalities (pat mok, kym ng, yi feng, zoe, rui en, and yourself)! cheers!

Hi BRYAN,I like your presentation it very profession .just a penny 4 my thought that one day u be hosting a brand of your health exercises for aunties n uncle n wat kind of food to take cause since u know dancing n health food.Iwished my dream will come true, cause i trust u,watever u do it be good Cause u have a lots of aunties fan too,It really be great.Be watching the every friday show n waiting for the travel……show .U REALLY a good host .Hope the producer will read this request .

I really enjoy the GM last Friday. Not only bcos I’m a mum myself but I like the way you hv presented yourself. I still remembered the first time I came across your blog and after reading it, I was quite shock at how much difference you are personally and on TV. But during the GM, I finally can ‘link together’ the ‘blog Bryan’ and ‘TV Bryan’…

Came over from Quan’s and was happy to see some of your pictures from travelogue. I like the Turkey, Cappedocia, you look so handsome! And the last picture in Okinawa, Japan makes one feel so relax and blend into the nature, the sea never look so calm before, haha! I missed the GM but saw the shots though, I like your new/different kind of a presentation style, it’s more of a toned-down-Bryan kind, but still c-u-t-e. I like the funky-wacky-Bryan too of course from the HD. Hey, when is that Travelogue going to air?? Can’t wait! Thank God you are safe, please stay safe for your fans ok? Hope to read more posts from you.

In my opinion, i tink e hairstyle doesnt suits u well.
A bit more wacky will be nice as to get more juicy stuff from the artists.

you might want to hang on for just a little bit longer..It takes time to blend in and for ppl to accept you..unless you feel really unhappy and the unhappinesss that you are experiencing surpasses the money you earn then please do let go and find some other jobs.However, we should all know that to look for a job nowadays is not that easy right?

perhaps i was having a bad hair day then..just trying to have a different look rather than looking the same for the past donkey years..as for being more wacky, hmm..it might just upset people that i am trying to act cute at my age and also, all these hot mamas are very good in keeping things inside..they had a baby inside them for months, isn”t ?

Hey bryan..about the acting cute thing for one of your reply, please don’t think it that way. Those ppl who say that u’re acting cute, are just jealous that u’re blessed with cute looks..so, don’t take other ppl’s comments too hard. I still prefer the fun loving bryan in princesses and the dude.

hmmm.. im watching glamourmum now! its reali entertaining! but somehow it gives me a feeling like its as thou another version of the previous show u hosted with the 7princesses one..

Don’t mind if I answer this for Bryan? LOL.
Actually you can always find brief information regarding that particular episode of “Glamour Mum” in the latest issue of I-weekly magazine published the week AFTER it was first telecast.
For example: about the episode starring Vivian Lai Yiling (last Friday 20 June 2008 8pm) , you can find info about it on page 94 of I-weekly magazine issue number 556, which is out this week. (Cover girl – upcoming HK actress Isabella Leong).
But too bad – there is no word about the hair growth recipe thingie by Vivian Lai. =p
Bryan – Perhaps you go enquire about it from Vivian again, since a few supporters of yours are asking about it?
Or maybe some of us go writing a feedback email to I-weekly editor to request them “publishing everything about each and every subsequent episode of Glamour Mum from the next episode starring May Phua onwards”??
Oh by the way Bryan, I still somehow prefer the way you look and host in “The Princesses and the Dude” series.
My 2 cents opinons. Hehe.

u can find the detailed listings of the shops/places introduced in the prog on this website.
as for tips, u can find view the clips under the video section (http://glamourmum.mediacorptv.sg/videos.htm), and that will give u ample time to jot down whatever recipes, or catch the names of the items mentioned (eg the 松柏叶 and 三蒸米酒) so that u can check them out at the medical halls
