Heirloom Receipe…..
It aired tonight..
My sis actually came over to join my mum and i to watch the documentary..
I think i owed the producer a huge thank you..for documenting my remaining family and i on film..watching the show, witnessing the bond as if i am a third party, i clearly saw the love that bonded us together..sometimes that was oblivious to me..
I am my father’s son.
and finally, the long awaited closure.

I just watch the documentary and could really feel the bond between you and your family. You are fortunate. Stay happy and bring us good shows.

it uncovers quite a fair bit of you which we didn’t know of… like you & your sis participation in Xin Yao! wow that’s really quite an achievement!

and talent are actually within you since a v tender age.
and can sense the maturity that grows in you over the yrs… though still maintaining a child-like smile
enjoyed the programme today a lot.

Hi Bryan
After watching the “Heirloom Receipe”, I feel like going back home now. Really really miss my mum…..Actually i have been away from her since my university times, then working outstation, would rush back home during weekends n now staying in Melaka with my own family, not able to go back that often anymore. How nice if i can see and hold my mum’s hand every day. She is 71 yrs old now and i think i am not a good daughter . Not really can take care of her. And for my dad, he passed away at 52 , not enjoy any good life..my regret forever…

I watched it with my momi and she said you looked soo adorable when you were a kid and was telling us we should learn to be filial like you! It was a really heartwarming docu and wished it was longer. Btw, you can sing! =) And the hokkien mee really looked so good like those I always enjoy when I go back to Malacca. What brand of dark soy sauce (kicap) do you use for the Hokkien mee?
on November 4th, 2009 at 8:53 am
Hello…
I missed the early part of the screening…but I saw U cooking Hokkien mee… one of my favourite..
If U’re not a celebrity, u could be a chef, interior designer, writer… multi talented
Keep going & growing…

Hi! Bryan
I didn’t know you appeared on “Heirloom Receipe” till my aunties called me one by one and by the time I rushed to turn on the TV, you were already playing piano!!!!!
I wish there will be a repeat telecast soon…
I hope one day in the near future we will get to see you hosting cooking variety shows, like the one that Kym Ng & Huang Hui are doing… because I believe you will add lots of values i.e. your humor, your skill & etc to the show…
Last but not least, look forward to seeing you in the new “Chen Ren Za Zhi”!

Hi Bryan,
I caught this episode and it really warmed my heart. we can really feel the bond and love you had with your family.
im glad you decided to stay in the entertainment industry because you did such a great job in it. i totally disagree with those negative comments audiences said to you that you have stated in the show.
all the best. and take care.
bless.

Dear Bryan!
I set alarm to remind myself to watch your documentary! I went home early after work just to catch this show!
Yes, really feel the strong bond between you & your family! ^^
You resemble your Beloved Daddy! -)
Just my heartfelt concern and not to be offended .. continue to take charge of your body.. I can see that you are balancing your diet!
It is not easy to maintain a balance good & healthy lifestyle ..I hope your family share the same with you -))
It is too common… bad high cholesterol, overweight can link to many diseases, to name a few, stroke, heartattack, diabetes etc.
Continue to keep fit! You look great & excellent!
Cheers!

Bryan,
Keep going!
I will be looking forward to your new variety show <城人新杂志> in December!

It was indeed an extremely touching episode of heirloom recipe! I agree with you! Jiaxuan did an excellent job in filming the entire episode so much so that I msged her immediately after I watched it:) yup, i happen to have worked with her before.
And I’m really touched that you are so close to your sis and mom, and that the love you shower them with is really unconditional in my opinion. Watching this episode made me tear uncontrollably as it made me think of my dearest grandma who left me months ago. The bond you share with your mom and sis also brought much warmth to my heart.
No matter what, do stay strong!
You have friends out here like us who will be supporting you too!

TO 裴涵
on November 21st, 2009 at 12:28 pm

TO COCO,

Hi Bryan – I missed your show, could I ask for your rceipt for the KL hokkien mee as I love to cook for my family. Heard you are great in cooking this noodle dish
Thanks.
