HOMEBOUND
Its been a really long week..long because we had to cover three destinations in one go and believe me when i say seven hours on the road ain’t exactly the kind of a thing you would like to do on a holiday, but then again, this time round me working ya?
Am now at the Istanbul airport, awaiting the 2320 flight that will bring me back home. I miss home. Nevertheless, this trip was fun though.Met some very interesting people and me actually bumped into my friend at the Spice bazaar in istanbul..really bizarre..Wanted very much to updateall these but simply not able to log on even though i have the password from the hotels..Maybe if you guys know the way to do it let me know, i am using Macbook, btw.
Edward, i hope that things are alright with your wife and sam, the dinner has yet to commence. Was wondering if all could do it this Sunday noon..let me know when/if i sms you guys on saturday night ya>>> And to answer another question , i am using Canon G9
Turkey is really a piece of jewel and we all should come visit if we can.Its historical background encompasses much that would leave us spellbounded.. The mood, its colours and its people are simply..hmmm…unbelieveably divine. Will share more when i make it home in one piece..
Till i’m back…
Take care.

Wow, the castle behind you is just beautiful. I cannot wait to see all the wonderful pictures you, I am really excited about the new website coming soon. I hope you do get a little rest to recuperate before you take to the skies again. Do take care of yourself, as it seems things have been going rather quickly for you these last few months. Still I do enjoy your stories and descriptions of the exotic places. Remember though you are travelling and working, do some time to rest and relax, and enjoy the moments. It’s the little things too that matter, even if it is just to stand there and take a big deep breath. Enjoy, smile, and live every moment….you do have a beautiful smile, but i guess you already know that. Take care

Thanks for your concern, Bryan. Just came back from the hospital. She went through the MIR scan and found that from her previous operation to remove the gall bladder (7 years ago), the doctor forgot to make appointment to remove the stent that was put in the bile duct. It was dislocation causing infection in her bile duct and stones accumulated in there. So now waiting for her infection to cure and in another 4 weeks or so, appointment to operate and have the stent & stones remove. I am so sad and lost these few days while she is in the hospital. Guess life is never smooth sailing at times. I pray for her fast recovery and her future operation will be as painless as it can be without complication.
Happy to hear that you will be coming home. Yes, I have these kind of feeling when I am away from home. No place is better than home itself.
Take care!

Hi Bryan,
New to MacBook?! I can help you!!
On your menu bar there is the following icons form left to right: Spotlight, Time, Battery life, AirPort signal, etc…
Click on the Air Port and you will see either Turn AirPort On or Turn AirPort Off. If it’s on, you will be able to see the signal bars. To connect to a network, select the one which you are using. There can be multiple networks in an area. Pick the correct one, and a pop up will ask you for password. If connection is successful, the signal bars will turn black.
The new MacBook will indicate the secure and non-secure networks for you. So yup, easier for you to identify.
Hope you will get use to using a MacBook. I’ve just switched from the iBook G4 that I had for 3 years to my current MacBook. It’s actually very user-friendly, don’t you think?? I don’t think I will ever switch back to using Windows ever again.
If you need anymore help, just email me and I will be glad to assist. =)

Hi Bryan, I went Turkey for my honeymoon last year. Like what you mentioned,I was spellbounded by the beautiful country. The historical sites which I’ve visited really left me in awe and wonder. I still miss the country and was very glad that I’ve chosen Turkey as my honeymoon destination. Looking forward to watching you host this travelogue programme on our TV soon

Canon G9 costs S$880++…but it is 12.1 megapixels eh. So the photography effects produced must be very good. =)

i hear the people in Turkey are very passionate about their football. my hubby went there many years ago and with the help of tourism board they created a Singapore Food Promotion in Conrad hotel there. I would love to go there one day and scour the markets as well as to look across to the other side of the Mediterranean.
hope you had fun.
