Taste of Freedom

Hi guys, been a while since i update this space.. I guess i am indulging in my taste of freedom..where i finally am able to laze around in bed 36hrs in a row and not going to sleep at twelve and staying up real late and watch tv all day long…This is heaven!!! had a ball of a time just spending time with myself for the past few days and guess what, its really great to be alone. True enough, no man is an isle but however, its good to be robinson C once in a while, where you get to spend quality time with yourself, reflecting on things and getting to know yourself all over again… Wonder if age plays a huge part in diminishing the feel of lunar new year..seems like its not as exciting as it was before…hmm…. Anyway, hope that you guys had a wonderful new year ! Went to tua pek kong at loyang today and somehow, after visiting(praying to) all thirteen or sixteen deities, somewhat felt much happier and got a tinge of the lunar new year spirit!

Hello, Gong xi fa cai. Hope that the rat year brings you health, joy and happiness. Just before Chinese New Year, my friends and I were having champagne at Intro-Bar, Swissotel Westin. Guess what? We saw you in a hurry, as usual, doing some filming. We instantly commented that you are one of the very few in Mediacorp that can think very quickly on your feet. We also agreed that the other person is Mark Lee. Fantastic to have talents around. Otherwise, Mediacorp is GONE !!! The stuff they produce these days are so low-class. Worse, there are so many insipid and boring stars in Mediacorp. God knows what they do these days. Still, we remain thankful and supportive, mainly because you and Mark Lee, among the very few worth our respect, are still around to bring us entertainment.

My new year started out on a really low note, which is still ongoing… T.T

Looks like you had a lot of self-time, which is good.
Enjoy while you can, before it’s time for work. lol

    Happy New Year!

Nice to hear that you are taking a break off the busy schedule you are having.

Everyone should be having break to release stress of work. It is definitely good for health sake. Prayer is good for everyone. I am a believer of the existence of God in all religions so when one is praying, it gives a sense of peace.

Hope everyone is enjoying this Chinese Lunar New Year 2008 like my family and me. Hope all your dreams come true!

Glad to hear that you managed to take a break. I’m sure you appreciate every single little break that you get! =D
It is always good to have a little time off to oneself and just spend time alone reflecting and thinking. I’m one of those people who enjoy doing that. Hahaha. I like talking, I can go on forever. But then again, I also enjoy time alone for me to think. I believe that that is what makes me a better person after all. =)
    Take care.

tomorrow is valentine’s day… although this may seem to be a very commercialized occasion for restaurants and florists to earn money, do take this opportunity to think about your other half (if u’re lucky to have found yours) and all your loved ones (family, friends), and remind yourself to love and treasure them each day… happy valentine’s day! :)

    Gong Hei Fatt Choy Bryan!

I had a good laugh tonight again watching Folks Jump over the Wall! Hahahahahahaha…. so funny. Hey I thought you mentioned it was the last episode on your comment page. I missed the first 10 mins but gain all that back after watching the show.

Well yes a taste of freedom! Sometimes we strive to do so much because we want enjoy it and taking challenges but along the way… but even the best marathon needs to take his break. I am always so busy that sometimes my family and friends says they don’t know what the hell I am doing, I seems to be so busy then the President. Yes we lost touch with so many things in life while fulfilling our goals. But at this juncture, sometimes you just screaming for that break & freedom… away from noise, people, pubs, shopping.. just immersed alone in tranquility and freedom.. it is so nice and enjoyable. I like to talk but when I need my freedom to be alone, I enjoy and can be so quiet all to myself thinking about what I actually wanted in life.

Yes of course the best part of able to sleep late at night, and laze in bed instead of climbing out because is already 6am or when the mobile rings from other parts of the world! Gosh that is the problem with technology! Sometimes I wished all this can be put to a halt and companies are back to fax and writing and mailing documents. At least there is a break! Now in 2 mins you received 300 emails and replied them the whole damn morning and in minutes, hundreds of replies start rolling in… when will this stop! The faster you work thinking is efficient, actually the more work is piling up! God please turn us back to nature or caveman times or animals… I enjoy their freedom!

Happen to learn about Edison Chen’s scandal and sad to find out what happen. Being a celebrity and involving in such incident is painful and sad.

I hope everyone can help to put an end to this ugly incident. Let us pray for those who are involved so that they can live their lives again.

    Hi there,

Somehow I know this blog may quieten down as the time goes. There’s only so much that one can say over a public platform especially when you’re that of a public figure. And there’s also that much you would say as I feel you’re a man of little words.

Ah.. my blog too is facing the impact of the US subprime mortgage crisis after a flourishing input of growth of number of posts. haha.. Guess it’s just a process..

Hey but anyway, glad that you had a good break. I think I really need one too.. Under an invisible amount of stress lately, deadlines.. hope i can meet it or else, i’ll be dead. haha..

    How I wish I can have that 36hours…. lalala~

    Cheers

finally, you get yourself a break!
met you for the first time in my friend’s challenge on the junior home decor, wonder if you could recall who am i. perhaps, just another passerby in your life. i have always wanted to meet you and yea, finally i did. never thought that you will appear on that day. anyway, you are definitely a good host. admire that! have a fruitful and challenging year ahead!

Sawadee Kha! I’m about to go to Phuket and I’m quite excited about my holiday. Already got my flight to Bangkok and from there we’ll go explore around Pattaya and of course Phuket, I found your awesome blog on Bing and it seems that you know a lot about Phuket City. Could you please give me some advice where to stay in Phuket Island? I’ve heard there are some good hotels in the main town and in the northwest… Thank you in advance!
